Consumer demand for sustainability has never been higher, particularly in the fashion industry. In fact, a recent survey conducted by McKinsey found that a majority of fashion consumers listed the use of sustainable materials and the promotion of sustainability as important purchasing factors.
The survey, conducted in April 2020, found that more than 60% of respondents identified two important purchasing factors for fashion items:
